Exclusive Hulkbuster Funko Figure Through Collectors Corp

Funko, the maker of the awesomely collectable Pop figures, is starting a new subscription box service along with Marvel where every two months, they will send a box for $25 that has $50 worth of stuff. Each box will have 1 t-shirt (1 of 4 different designs), a stylized vinyl collectable, and two premium accessories. All items will be exclusive to the box service, not available anywhere else and will go along with whatever Marvel is doing around that time so the first one up is related to the Avengers 2 movie and it will include this very cool looking Hulkbuster Pop. Here is the site to go check it out: Marvel Collectors Corp

Lego to Release 3,000 Piece Avengers Helicarrier

Did you ever wonder to yourself what a Lego Helicarrier would look like? Well wonder no more! Lego is actually releasing a 3,000 pc Avengers Helicarrier! Wow, that is huge! See the pictures below of all it’s awesomeness. The Helicarrier set features 2,996 pieces along with 12 microfigures (so it won’t be sized for your other Lego Avengers minifigures) sized to fit into the detailed interior. It comes with all the gear you need to enact a bustling scene aimed at supporting your Lego superheroes. Fighter jets, Quinjets, forklift trucks, ground support vehicles, and two runways will keep you plenty busy. The finished Helicarrier sits on its own display stand and measures 31 inches long. Even though they don’t fit, there will be some Avengers minifigures along for the ride. The set includes Nick Fury, Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye and Agent Maria Hill, making her Lego minifig debut. The set will be released in March for $350 but will be available in February for Lego Club members.

Incredible Hulk 111 Variant Zombie Cover Original Artwork by Leonard Kirk

There was a month a few years back that Marvel did a zombie variant cover for a lot of their comics and of course the Hulk had one by current artist at that time Leonard Kirk. Leonard is a great artist and hasn’t gotten the kind of publicity that he deserves. He did both the regular cover and the variant cover which is cool. Very glad to be able to pick up this cover as Leonard put a lot of work and detail into it. My goal is to get at least one Hulk cover each year and I have managed to hit that goal in the first month of 2015. I have posted the original artwork for page 111, what the cover looked like published and what the regular version looked like.

Funko Releases Images of Incredible Hulk Figures and Toys for Avengers Age of Ultron Movie

I already posted yesterday about the Hot Topic grey exclusive Pop Hulk figure, and now Funko has officially released images of the entire Avengers related toys they are making and there are a bunch of Hulks! Those include a regular Hulk Pop figure, another set of Mystery Mini’s although they don’t show what the variants will be so hopefully the Hulk will be one of them, a Hulk keychain, a Hulk bobblehead, and a finally a Hulk Fabrikation which is a plush type toy. They have done some other Marvel Fabrikations and I am glad to see them finally come out with a Hulk. Looks like most of these will be available in March or April so be on the lookout!

Happy Birthday to Bill Bixby from the Incredible Hulk TV Show

On March 10, 1979, the Incredible Hulk tv show premiered and I was blown away. I had already been a huge fan of the comic book and now I was able to see my favorite comic book character on the television, how incredible (pun intended) is that. To top it off, that was also my 10th birthday. We all know Lou Ferrigno played the Hulk but Bill Bixby brought the character of David Bruce Banner to life. He brought Banner’s sadness and desire to stay in one location and have a life to the screen in an amazing way. Bill had done previous roles on tv but this role will probably always be his most well known. How many of us have seen him walking down the highway at the end of an episode with the classic music playing. Bill was born on January 22, 1934 but sadly passed away in 1993. Great actor and I thank him for what he did for helping bring the Hulk to many, many people.

Marvel Select Avengers Age of Ultron Incredible Hulk Action Figure

First photos have appeared of the Marvel Select Incredible Hulk action figure for the Avengers Age of Ultron movie coming soon (but not soon enough). The overall sculpt looks pretty good except his mouth seems a little off. It just doesn’t seem right for some reason but the rest of the figure looks good. With the other Marvel Select Hulk figures, I am sure this will weigh about 50 lbs. The figure should be available around early May when the movie is released.

Hot Topic Exclusive Grey Incredible Hulk Pop Figure for Avengers Age of Ultron Movie

Funko is of course making a line of Pop figures for the upcoming Avengers Age of Ultron movie and someone got a sneak peak of the figures and it looks like there is going to be a grey version of the Incredible Hulk exclusive to Hot Topic. The Hulk has red around his eyes similar to the red that appears around the Hulk’s eyes in the trailer when he is fighting Iron Man in his Hulkbuster armor. Some people are thinking that the Hulk might turn grey in the movie but I doubt that, this is just a reason to make an exclusive version by changing the color without having to create anything new. Regardless I will be picking it up.
