There are a bunch of Avengers related toys coming out right about now and Legos has come out with some cool items. Similar to their DC version, this is a build a figure Hulk. There is also a Captain America and Iron Man figure and you can interchange the parts with each other.
Thanks to Smashin’, here is another great Avengers movie trailer. And this one also has the best line of the movie, namely “We have a Hulk.” Yeah, I can’t wait for this movie to come out.
Wyndham Hotel chain is doing some promotional work with Marvel for the Avengers movie. They are having a contest, trivia on their website and put out 10 new wallpapers of all the Avengers featuring great close up shots of all the members of the team. I have to say the Hulk wallpaper is freaking amazing and it is now the wallpaper for my work computer. Make it yours now.
As the Avengers movie is rapidly coming closer, there are more tv spots coming out and this one has another great line: Hulk..smash. Now unfortunately it’s not the Hulk who says it in the commercial but it still rocks. And how great is that smile on the Hulk’s face.
There is a new Avengers movie tv spot called ‘Headcount’ which features a great new scene of the Incredible Hulk jumping into the side of a building and smashing some enemies. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the Hulk awesomeness.
In anticipation of the upcoming Avengers movie and the toys Lego is releasing in association with the movie, Lego recreated the Avengers movie poster almost to perfection. This is the first time we get to see the Hulk’s face on the new Lego toy and it looks pretty darn cool, I really can not wait to get the Hulk set. The post mentions www.lego.com/avengers but as of today, there is nothing at that page.
I know you are all as excited as I am to see the upcoming Avengers movie to see how much the Hulk will rock in it and now AMC theaters are putting together a special event to help with the excitement. In some selected AMC theaters around the country, they will be having an Ultimate Marvel Marathon featuring all the great Marvel movies since Iron Man which of course includes the very under-rated Incredible Hulk movie from 2008. The cost is $40 and includes all the movies including the Avengers premier at midnight plus the special 3d glasses. The second season of Avengers: Earth’s Mightest Heroes! debuts on April 1 on Disney XD at 12:00pm EST! For myself, I know I am anxiously awaiting this cartoon to return. Over the years, Marvel has had some okay cartoon series (X-Men and the Hulk cartoon from the 90′s are examples) but honestly DC has always had better cartoons (except of course the manga Teen Titans) but the Avengers: EMH has finally taken Marvel cartoons to a new high level. The writing is amazing, the artwork is fantastic, and the heroes and villains are characterized perfectly. I love how they weave actual comic book stories into the series. This is an incredible version of the Hulk in the series. Not just a dumb “Hulk smash!” Hulk but one with some basic intelligence who can make some snarky comments when needed. Love it when he is in the program. The scene when MagnatronGraviton was using all of his power to keep down the Hulk and the Hulk manages to stand up: pure genius. Anyways, here is the trailer for season two and it looks like there will be plenty of Hulk but it looks like there will also be an episode with the Red Hulk.
Not much in the way of new Hulk stuff but a bunch of new scenes in the Japanese trailer for the Avengers movie. Some better shots of the aliens and the best thing is a great shot of the Helicarrier taking off from the ocean. How can you have an Avengers movie without a Helicarrier. I would have embedded the video into this post but my Japanese is a little rusty so not exactly sure how so here is the link.
