Incredible Hulk Chibis Avengers Movie Figure

Chibis is a style originated in Japan where a person is recreated in a smaller look. Bulls I Toys has released a series of these toys for the Avengers movie. They have all the characters from the movie, including Bruce Banner. They come three to a sealed bag so it is a mystery which one you get until you buy the package and open it. I was luckily enough to find the Hulk but now I need to find the Bruce figure too. They are real tiny, about as tall as a quarter. Found the packages at Target so if you have one near you, go out and try to find one for yourself!

Sideshow Avengers Incredible Hulk Statue Sneak Peak

On the Aintitcool website, they were showing some behind the scenes footage for the upcoming Avengers movie and they showed Mark Ruffalo standing next to an unfinished Hulk statue that looks exactly like the Hulk in the movie. Sideshow Toys has since released a confirmation that this is indeed a Legacy statue that they will be releasing. The statue looks HUGE and looks like a pretty good likeness for the movie version of the Hulk. Judging from the size, this will probably be in the $800-$900 range. Little pricey for me so would anyone care to donate one to me?

Bowen Designs has always done the best Incredible Hulk statues….period. Their Planet Hulk statue is still my favorate Hulk statue to date. Well Bowen Designs is working on a new Hulk statue and this one was a definite Sal Buscema vibe and look to it and it looks amazing. While it is not up for sale yet, they have released another sneak peak of the statue, this time painted. Take a look and prepare to be amazed!

Wyndham Hotel chain is doing some promotional work with Marvel for the Avengers movie. They are having a contest, trivia on their website and put out 10 new wallpapers of all the Avengers featuring great close up shots of all the members of the team. I have to say the Hulk wallpaper is freaking amazing and it is now the wallpaper for my work computer. Make it yours now.

Incredible Hulk 214 Page 2 Sal Buscema artwork

I started reading the Incredible Hulk in the late 1970′s and while Herb Trimpe did a great job on the comic, Sal Buscema will always be the best Hulk artist for me. His artwork on issues 300-330 really defined what the Incredible Hulk looks like for me. There have been a lot of other great artists on the book but Sal during his early run will always and I mean always be the best. I really want a big splash page from the run but have not found one I can afford yet. I did stumble across this page on eBay and while it is not a splash, it is a great page so I jumped on it. It has great art by Sal and inks by Ernie Chan. It has the Hulk carrying his friend Jim Wilson and has an amazing transformation scene. Love it. But some day I will own a Sal splash, oh yes, one day.
